A collision between two trains in northern Greece has killed at least 32 people and injured dozens.
The train, which was carrying about 350 passengers, collided with a freight train late on Tuesday night near the town of Larissa. It is the largest railroad accident in Greece in a decade.
Rescuers worked all night trying to free passengers who were on one of the trains. At least 85 people were injured, but inspections have not yet been completed in all the cars.
53 people remain in hospitals. 25 of the injured are in serious condition. However, there might be more deaths.

The footage published by the media shows thick puffs of smoke rising from the derailed cars. A fire broke out as a result of the collision. The collision occurred shortly before midnight on Tuesday under circumstances that have not yet been clarified.
About 150 firefighters and 40 ambulances are working at the scene. Firefighters are focusing their efforts on the first two cars of the passenger train, which have overturned and are difficult to reach.
