Over the weekend, 390 passengers of Ukrzaliznytsia's evacuation trains have already received their payments from the state directly at the stations in Lviv and Dnipro, having just got off the train.

These first aid kits and others are already being delivered to railway departments to help save the lives of Ukrainian citizens.

The ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has been supporting Ukraine in its fight against the Russian occupiers since the beginning, from essential humanitarian aid to assistance with free transport for refugees and transport and logistics services for the country. In particular, on May 6, 2022, RCG launched the first train carrying Ukrainian corn to Austria to the commune of Aschach an der Donau in the Upper Austrian district of Eferding.

Ukrainian Railways informs that on the night of March 12-13 the evacuation passenger train was hit by debris during the shelling near Brusin station in the Donetsk region.
