Budimex has recently completed an impressive project – the construction of the bridge over the Regalica River. This complex task, which began in September 2021, was finalized within two years, a period Budimex elegantly compressed into a two-minute time-lapse which you now can take a look at.
Cezary Łysenko from Budimex highlighted the project's complexity, noting, "This investment is one of the most complex that we are currently carrying out in Western Pomerania. It connects two roads – water and rail. We are rebuilding the track system from one to two, 3.5 km long, and a total of over 12 km of track."
The completion of this project is a part of the government's Flood Protection Project in the Oder and Vistula Basin (POPDOW). The bridge, with an estimated cost of around PLN 282 million (approx. EUR 65 million), will enhance the freedom of inland navigation and maintain the continuity of railway traffic.
