The Polish construction company Budimex, which is vying for the construction of high-speed rail in the Czech Republic, is successfully progressing with the construction of Highway D35 between Džbánov and Litomyšl.
Workers are currently preparing the construction site, felling trees, removing excess soil, and adjusting the subgrade. They have also begun work on gas pipelines and electrical lines. All work is proceeding according to the set schedule, as stated in a press release received by the RAILTARGET editorial office via email.
Employees of the Polish company Budimex took over the construction site at the beginning of April this year. Since then, inspections and documentation of its condition, including the surrounding areas and access roads, have been ongoing. In early May, the company started with the felling of trees. They are now continuing with the removal of excess topsoil and the remediation of the subgrade, as further noted in the press release.
