In Langweid am Lech (Bavaria), where TMH International is building a depot worth € 45 million, a traditional German rafter festival took place, marking the laying of floors in the depot building. In accordance with the contract signed at the end of 2020, TMH will provide maintenance in this depot for 78 trains built by Siemens and Stadler, operated by the private operator Go-Ahead Bayern, for 12 years.

The new depot will become one of the most modern in Europe and will operate on the basis of the principle of dynamic service, using modern technologies. A so-called digital twin will be created for each unit of the rolling stock, which will help to analyze the condition of all equipment components even before the train arrives at the depot. This will allow you to identify possible defects and sources of problems at an early stage. In a similar way, it is also supposed to control all logistics processes, carry out personnel management and planning of production facilities.

The enterprise will be equipped with a line to control the parameters of wheelsets. With the help of Boom Software, specialists will be able to record wheelset wear using sensor measuring equipment and plan further repair measures.
