The project encompasses the installation of a centralized Traffic Control Centre (CTC 1000) utilizing Thales technology, the automation of track gates for trains accessing the Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva (APH) infrastructure, and a Light and Sound Signals system for level crossings. The latter is crucial due to the unique track layout and the frequency of train movements within the port.
Integration with existing safety systems is a key objective, allowing seamless communication between the Adif CTC and the activities at the Majarabique freight loading and unloading terminal. A computer tool will link these systems with the Rail Traffic Safety Management System of the Port of Huelva.
