SYSTRA has won two significant Asset Management contracts with MTR, Hong Kong’s transport manager, which will be game changers for the company's presence in the region.
The first contract was awarded as part of a consortium with asset management specialist Assetman, to conduct a comprehensive audit of Hong Kong's railway network. The audit will focus on operating methods and the asset management process and will last for six months, following which a final report will be presented to the Hong Kong government.

SYSTRA Asia Business Unit's Business Development Director, Patrick Desforges, said the company aims to support MTR in meeting international standards, adopting industry best practices, and providing benchmarking studies to strengthen maintenance and risk management procedures. The second contract is an operational maintenance contract, with SYSTRA serving as the sole contractor. The company will utilize its local teams in Asia and SYSTRA France's Systems teams to conduct a complete analysis of the track equipment and network infrastructure.
