Syslogic: On-board computer based on the new NVIDIA module

The Swiss company Syslogic has unveiled the RSL A3 compact on-board computer specially designed for railway rolling stock and based on the latest high-performance computing module Jetson AGX Xavier Industrial from NVIDIA. It is expected to find application in the creation of autonomous artificial intelligence devices (video analytics, machine vision, unmanned control, etc.) operating in the harsh environmental conditions that are typical for railways.

The Jetson AGX Xavier Industrial module is designed for industrial use and is capable of operating in the temperature range from –40 to +85 ° С, to operate at loads up to 50g and in vibration conditions with an amplitude of 5g in the frequency range from 10 to 1000 Hz. The performance of the module on operations related to artificial intelligence reaches 30 TOPS.

Based on this module, the RSL A3 computer has a rugged design and is certified to EN50155, EN45545-2 HL3, EN61373 and comes with a pre-installed NVIDIA development environment.
