Siemens Mobility has won a contract to provide maintenance services for Metrolinx, Ontario’s local public operator, for their railway infrastructure system in the West Region of Toronto.
As Siemens Mobility states, the contract, which has a three-year term with the option to extend for two more years, covers track, signal, and right-of-way maintenance services. Siemens Mobility’s digital tools and software will complement the on-the-ground experience and knowledge of their teams to provide Metrolinx with around-the-clock service and up to 100% system availability. This partnership highlights Siemens Mobility’s commitment to being a reliable partner to its customers worldwide and will ultimately enhance the passenger experience and support passenger growth in the future.
