RegioPanter is part of the family of low-floor electric trains manufactured by the Czech company Škoda Transportation. Its design is modern and attractive, and it is optimized for comfortable and wheelchair-accessible passenger transport. The train is equipped with wide doors, making it easier to board and disembark, and offers interiors spacious enough to seat passengers comfortably.

The modern RegioPanter electric units are three-car trains designed for regional services with a seating capacity of almost 240 passengers. These trains are equipped with the European Train Control System (ETCS) and reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h. They are dual-system, meaning they can be operated on both DC and AC power systems.

The RegioPanter provides passengers with a bright and spacious air-conditioned interior with ergonomically designed seats. In addition, it offers Wi-Fi internet access and 230V power sockets. The toilet facilities are equipped with a closed system so that they can be used in stations.

The arrival of the new RegioPanters will increase the transport capacity on the S4 line from Prague to Kralupy nad Vltavou, which is currently served by CityElefant units. Thanks to the deployment of the new RegioPanters, CityElefant units will be freed up, enabling the strengthening of connections on other lines in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region.
