In this context, we dedicate work and effort to incorporate new professionals to a unique project, which is leading a more sustainable and intelligent mobility model, as the first investor in the country; not only to contribute to the recovery of the country but also to promote a more competitive economy, around the green and digital principles, which drive the European funds NextGenerationEU", explains Mª Luisa Domínguez, president of Adif and Adif AV.
"Advancing in the democratization of passenger transport -with a liberalization process underway- and undertaking the transformation of our infrastructures and services -backed by the digital revolution- are equal challenges that we will successfully tackle with the incorporation of diverse talent," notes Domínguez.
"We are tackling a challenge that goes beyond numbers; a large-scale generational and cultural change with which we will make possible the transfer of critical knowledge -that accumulated by professionals during their long career in the railway world-, taking advantage of the capabilities and skills of new professional profiles -younger and digital-, incorporating more diverse talent and transforming the way we approach our work to successfully respond to the mobility of the future," comments Michaux Miranda, general manager of People management at Adif.

More than 500,000 hours of training
New professionals joining Adif and Adif AV also have access to a diversity of training options, which is extended throughout their careers and which, in this context of transformation, is key to achieving the objectives of the 2030 Strategic Plan and leadership in mobility. The induction plan for recruits for the 2023 EPO includes more than 500,000 hours of training.
This welcome plan, in the case of technicians and technical staff, includes lectures given by managers and experts in different areas of activity, visits to facilities, and a technical training program related to their professional profile.
