Honor for their outstanding achievements in the fight against railway thefts was given by Imre Vidra from MÁV Zrt. and Csaba Tóth, Operational Director of GYSEV Cargo Zrt., to nine police officers and eleven representatives of rail freight companies on February 15th, 2022, at the Budapest Police Headquarters.
The opening speech was delivered by Dr. Sándor Töreki Major General, Deputy National Police Chief for Crime who welcomed the cooperation between the police and the rail freight companies. This cooperation is still ongoing after a professional forum held in 2020.
Imre Vidra from MÁV Zrt. and Csaba Tóth, Operational Director of GYSEV Cargo Zrt., handed over official recognitions to a total of nine employees of the Budapest Police Directorate, the Pest County Police Directorate, the Police Directorate of Cegléd and the National Police Headquarters. The rail freight company representatives received commemorative certificates and gift packages from Major General Töreki as a token of appreciation.
