The project, valued at approximately PLN 39 million, will be financed through budgetary funds and is being carried out in collaboration with the City of Radom.

The Radom Wschodni station will feature an island platform adapted for people with reduced mobility and passengers with heavy luggage using the airport. Access to the road viaduct will be provided through fixed and escalator stairways, as well as lifts. The facility will be equipped with shelters, benches, handrails, clear signage, electronic displays, timetables, information boards, bike racks, LED lighting, a sound system, and monitoring. Guidance paths will be available for the blind and visually impaired.

Construction of the platform at the Żeromskiego Street flyover in Radom is set to begin in May 2023 and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2025. PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. has already installed nine additional turnouts within the overpass and carried out additional construction work related to the reconstruction of underground installations between 2020 and 2022.
