PKP Intercity has expanded its e-IC 2.0 sales platform, adding functions that simplify ticket purchases for international travel.

With these updates, passengers can now buy a wider range of tickets online, including those with reserved sleeping or couchette seats. Launched in August following a testing phase, the e-IC 2.0 system has gradually been enhanced with new features aimed at increasing convenience for passengers.

Expanded International Options

The e-IC 2.0 system now allows users to purchase international tickets under the Super Promo International offer, covering popular destinations in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria. Tickets to these countries, as well as to Lithuania, are also available through flexible offers. Additionally, passengers can now book tickets with reserved sleeping or couchette seats, which can also be accessed via the PKP Intercity mobile app. A new PDF format for international tickets, introduced in late October, aims to improve readability and ease of use.

Future Upgrades

Looking ahead, PKP Intercity plans to add even more options to the e-IC 2.0 system. Upcoming features will include online ticket sales to Ukraine with sleeper accommodations and self-service international ticket exchanges. The carrier will also soon allow Interrail and Eurail pass holders to purchase seat reservations for both domestic and international travel, enhancing accessibility.
