At Gdańsk's 15th International Railway Fair, TRAKO, Stadler stepped into the spotlight, showcasing two innovative rail vehicles designed for modern travel. They’ve introduced the FLIRT electrical multiple unit, a new staple for Serbian Railways, alongside the TANGO NF3 tram, primed for the streets of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Serbian-bound FLIRT train is a high-performance unit, tailored to meet Serbian Railways' needs and designed to offer a seamless and environmentally-conscious travel experience. Crafted with lightweight aluminum, the train complies with the latest safety and environmental standards.

Inside, it can comfortably accommodate nearly 500 passengers, with thoughtful designs ensuring ease of boarding and comfortable seating, particularly for those who might need a little extra assistance. Moreover, its accessibility features are underscored by spacious entrances, dedicated areas for people with disabilities, and direct communication options with the driver for added safety. It's worth noting that the relationship between Stadler and Serbian Railways isn’t new. The timely delivery of this unit marks yet another milestone in their ongoing collaboration.

As for Sarajevo, the TANGO NF3 tram is a blend of history and future. Recalling the city's inaugural tram service back in 1885, this new vehicle is all about elevating the passenger experience. The tram’s design, a brainchild of Stadler's expert engineers, is all about functionality.

Packed with features like air conditioning, ergonomic driver's cabins, and quick boarding doors, it promises to make tram journeys more comfortable and efficient. Funded by European powerhouses such as the EBRD and EIB, the TANGO NF3 isn't just a vehicle; it's a statement of Stadler's commitment to advancing urban transportation in the region.
