According to PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, repair work has begun on the railway line connecting Ukraine and Poland. The cost of the work is estimated at almost PLN 8 million (EUR 1.8 million).
The repair work, aimed at maintaining traffic and improving safety, will be carried out on the Subcarpathia section of railway line 108 Zagórz – Krościenko (state border).

According to representatives of the press service of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, works on the Zagórz – Ustrzyki Dolne section is scheduled to last until 22 June and on the Ustrzyki Dolne – Krościenko section until 31 August 2023. The investments include the repair of 19 engineering structures, including five bridges and 13 water pipes, as well as the reconstruction of a railway and road crossing in Ustrzyki Dolne.
