Singapore's Land Transport Authority has awarded Hitachi Rail and Strides Engineering the renewal of CCTV systems across the North-South and East-West Lines, enhancing the infrastructure and camera capacity at over 50 stations.
At its core, the upgrade features a centralized Video Management System (VMS) and Video Transmission Network (VTN) to manage both new and existing cameras across the NSEWL stations.
Hitachi Rail will provide the overall system solution and Strides Engineering will conduct the physical deployment. The combined expertise will ensure each station is equipped with state-of-the-art security technology seamlessly integrated into the Operations Control Centre.
