One of the world's leading logistics meetings, transport logistic, has been postponed since 2019 due to the pandemic, which is why this year's face-to-face gathering was particularly important for international market players. A total of 2,320 exhibitors and nearly 75,000 visitors attended the four-day event, with GYSEV CARGO among the exhibitors, sharing a stand with HUNGRAIL, Hungarian Railway Association.
This year, GYSEV CARGO prepared for the official opening of its stand with an unusual programme called Digital Event, which aimed to showcase the company's digitalisation efforts and to involve partners in the process. The guest of honour was Ildikó Major, Trade Attaché, Munich, representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

At the beginning of the programme, Dr László Katona, member of the board of HUNGRAIL, CEO of MMV Zrt. and János Boda, CEO of GYSEV CARGO Zrt. welcomed the partners, followed by an open panel discussion on the importance of digitalisation developments in the rail sector and future objectives between the company's staff and Rabea Böhme, Managing Director of Ab Ovo in Germany.
During the panel, it was also stated that with the advent of the digital age, the supply chain is not only flowing with goods but also with data and information in huge volumes, so not only do the goods transported need to be moved efficiently, but also the information related to the transport needs to be used and managed properly. It was also mentioned that for the digitalisation efforts to be successful, cooperation between partners is necessary, especially in the data transmission area.

The four-day meeting provided an opportunity for several fruitful discussions and closer relations with business partners. Visitors were even able to gain insights into the company's Sopron operations through the newly enhanced virtual reality application, which was also very popular throughout the exhibition.
The trade fair was also the first opportunity to see the company's new image film, which premiered at the Digital Event and focused on digitalisation.
