Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas has initiated a new public procurement process to select a supplier for the construction project expertise and supervision of Rail Baltica regional stations, infrastructure maintenance points in Skulte and Iecava, and the Salaspils intermodal freight terminal.
The construction project expertise will assess compliance with regulations, enactments, and client requirements.

The expert opinion ensures that Rail Baltica structures and construction projects adhere to safe construction parameters, while also assisting the client and designers in maintaining construction project quality. The scope of work provisionally includes the evaluation of around 70 km of railway tracks, 37 main buildings, 60 platforms, 28 km of roads, three overpasses, and other construction project analysis.

The anticipated service period is 48 months from the contract signing date, with the option for the client to extend the period until the design works are completed (up to 96 months from the contract signing date).
