Scheduled to commence operations by the close of 2024, this colossal facility is set to sprawl over an impressive 26.5 hectares - an expanse large enough to accommodate 37 football pitches. While the terminal primarily targets bolstering intermodal operations, its secondary objective is to amplify the rail freight transit between Asia and Europe. A significant chunk of the investment, totalling USD 85 million, is being shouldered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
