The 135,805-foot Basecamp facility was built south of Orlando International Airport. The facility is expected to operate 24/7. A total of 175 employees should work at the facility, including engineers, drivers, technicians and inspectors. The Basecamp will be equipped with a truck shop that will disassemble, clean and rebuild locomotives for further use. It will also include a deep drop table that will move between the heavy maintenance track and the truck shop. Basecamp will also feature a wheel changer or train washing facility that can wash a four-wagon train and two locomotives in just 15 minutes, using 75% recycled water.

The facility will be able to handle 16 trains at once. Currently, the construction of the project is 90% complete. In addition to the amenities mentioned above, the project will provide the region with new job opportunities.
