Extensive modernization work will be carried out on the Kamptalbahn in the next few years to increase capacity on the one hand and motivate more people to travel by train on the other. The first measures in the area from Langenlois to Horn will be implemented this summer - these range from track and platform renewal and preparatory work for a new signal box to track rehabilitation work, maintenance work on drainage systems and various cable work.
To ensure that construction work proceeds as quickly and safely as possible, a five-week track closure is necessary, and rail replacement services will be provided between Langenlois and Sigmundsherberg from August 1 to September 4.
