Tens of thousands of fans will make the pilgrimage to the Red Bull Ring for the "CryptoDATA Motorcycle Grand Prix of Austria 2022" and cheer on the MotoGP stars from 19 to 21 August. Peter Wallis, regional manager of ÖBB Personenverkehr Steiermark, puts it in a nutshell: "On the Sunday of the race, we will ensure stress-free connections with around 11,500 additional seats on the S-Bahn and long-distance trains, and we will do so cost-effectively, safely and reliably" and is convinced: "With our transport services, we are making a significant contribution to climate-friendly travel to and from the race."

Destination station Knittelfeld

This year, not only Knittelfeld railway station will become a mobility hub between rail and the free shuttle buses providing stress-free connections to the race and back every 20 minutes from 08:00 to 23:00 on the three days. The Judenburg railway station also offers free shuttle buses to the sporting event between 08:00 and 20:00 and ultimately leaves all motorways behind in terms of convenience on the way to the starting line. Information on connections from Graz, Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Klagenfurt and Villach can be found at www.oebb.at or www.projekt-spielberg.com.

Teams of the police and ÖBB will be at the start again this year because the joint information campaign will stop directly in the entrance area of the Red Bull Ring this weekend. At the information stand, all questions about safe travelling will be answered.
