The building with a total area of 2,500 m2 contains two tracks, a warehouse, a workshop, technical premises, office and sanitary premises, track and road infrastructure, and a parking lot. In the newly opened shop, Stadler will primarily provide maintenance services for the new FLIRT vehicles. At present, Koleje Mazowieckie already has 30 FLIRTs in operation, and according to the contract, the carrier will have over 60 vehicles of this type in its fleet.
''The open hall is a very modern facility that will ensure the provision of the services at the highest level. The opening of this hall is also further proof that the cooperation between Koleje Mazowieckie and Stadler is truly successful. I am pleased that we have managed to build this facility, which is crucial for the newest vehicle maintenance, in just 12 months. It was certainly a great challenge for our partner, Stadler, not least because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the difficulties that came with it. Thank you for the efficient implementation of this project," said Robert Stępień, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Koleje Mazowieckie.

The newly opened service hall in Sochaczew is another investment by Stadler in Poland.
''The cooperation with regional authorities and our customer, Kolej Mazowiecki, has been going on for 16 years. Stadler Polska, founded in connection with the acceptance of the first order from the Mazovia region, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Our next investment - a modern service hall, which I have the pleasure of opening today with our partners - is another step towards strengthening our presence in this country. I would love to thank the local authorities of the Mazovia region and the Mazovian Railways for many years of fruitful cooperation. This has enabled Stadler to grow in Poland, create attractive jobs, develop a network of local suppliers and partners and create added value for the region and the industry," said Peter Spuhler, CEO and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Stadler Group.
