February 25th, 2022, Bishkek. On the outskirts of the capital city where an oil depot is located was held a fire-tactical exercise and a fire train of the State Enterprise “NK” Kyrgyz Temir Zholu was present.
“The uniqueness of the fire train is that it is possible to supply 120 tons of water to the place of fire - 60 tons of water in each tank. There is a team of firefighters who started to extinguish the fire together with the arrived group of firefighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations,” said the head of the Bishkek-1 station, Chyngyzbek Talipov.
The goal of the exercise was to work out the interaction between the relevant services of the Civil Protection of the Leninsky district at Bishkek in the event of an emergency, focused on fires at facilities that store flammable and combustible materials. As the spread suppression, level of material damage, number of victims or injured are all dependent on the effective coordination of the emergency services involved in such events.
