On February 20, the world was stirred by the news of US President Joe Biden's visit to the Ukrainian capital. It turned out that the American leader had travelled to Kyiv by train from the Polish border.
Almost 15 years have passed between yesterday's and the previous visit of US presidents to Ukraine. US National Security Advisor Jacob Sullivan called Biden's visit to Kyiv "unprecedented in our time" because Ukraine's critical infrastructure is under full control of the Ukrainian military in wartime.
