In the second half of April, the Polish private railway carrier Stowarzyszenie Kolejowych Przewozów Lokalnych (SKPL) applied to the Polish Railways Authority for access to passenger traffic on the Warsaw (Wszczodnia) - Lublin - Hrebenne route (border with Ukraine). This route is to become part of the Warsaw-Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska-Lviv international route.

According to Rynek Kolejowy, SKPL plans to operate the route from 1 June 2023 to 31 May 2028. The carrier has informed the Railways Authority that the trains will run only in international traffic.
"The launch of the train service between Warsaw, Lublin, Rava-Ruska and Lviv will meet the huge demand of Ukrainians for convenient logistics by train to and from the Polish capital, as well as relieve the congestion at road checkpoints," states Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

The train with a minimum capacity of 240 passengers will run daily. Departure from Warsaw Wszczodnia station is scheduled for 14:00 (local time), from Lublin - at 16:00, and arrival in Rava-Ruska - at 20:15 (Kyiv time). Here you will transfer to the Ukrzaliznytsia train to Lviv. The train is scheduled to depart from Rava-Ruska at 08:45 and arrive in Warsaw at 13:00.
