ÖBB offers attractive Nightjet deals at Sparschiene prices on 21 routes throughout Europe. Tickets can be booked up to six months in advance. The earlier one books, the cheaper their journey!

The new-generation Nightjet has been operating on the popular route from Innsbruck and Vienna to Hamburg since December 2023. Offering significantly more comfort and privacy, the Nightjet introduces a new level of travel experience.

The new Mini Cabins are ideal for solo travelers and are available from just €54.90 with a Sparschiene ticket. A seat in a couchette carriage is also available from €54.90, while a sleeper compartment with shower facilities starts at €99.90.

  • NJ Couchette Comfort: from €34.90
  • NJ Couchette Comfort 4-seater or Mini Cabin: from €54.90

Traveling by night train with ÖBB's Nightjet offers a unique opportunity to cover longer distances in an environmentally friendly and comfortable way. Plus, there are no hidden costs such as baggage fees with Nightjet travel.

Economy Rail with Low Prices

With the Sparschiene, ÖBB has a very favorable offer for Nightjet travelers. It's best to book early, as the cheapest options are available up to six months in advance and outside of peak travel times. The ÖBB app and online in the ÖBB ticket store at or at are the easiest ways to view the cheapest travel alternatives.

More Comfort on the Night Train to Hamburg

The new generation Nightjet is already in operation on the Vienna - Hamburg and Innsbruck - Hamburg routes, where the comfort standards are contemporary and leave nothing to be desired: first-class equipment, onboard catering, continuous entertainment with the Railnet Night onboard portal, new longer beds, and technical amenities such as NFC cards to lock the compartments.
