Unusual train stoppages have occurred across Poland due to false radio signals, sparking concerns over national security. Over the weekend, five passenger trains and a freight train near Bialystok were halted because of these deceptive signals.
Polish authorities have arrested two men in connection with the incidents, one of whom is a police officer. "In some cases, the Russian anthem could be heard in the background of the signal," said railway officials. Stanislaw Zaryn, the Polish government's information security officer, emphasized the need for a meticulous investigation given the current geopolitical situation.

"The geopolitical situation demands that we analyze this matter very carefully and determine who may be behind these incidents," Zaryn stated. The ABW counter-intelligence agency is spearheading the investigation, examining the possibility of sabotage and espionage targeting Poland's railway system.
