The Polish company PESA, a leading innovator in the railway sector in Poland, has modernised a special carriage. It was used by US President Joe Biden to transport him from Kyiv to Poland on Monday.
US President Joe Biden used a special carriage, modernised by PESA Bydgoszcz, on his working trip from Kyiv to Poland. The company announced this on its Twitter account. The car, originally built for the Lviv Railway in 2005, has been upgraded and now serves on variable gauge bogies. The interior features a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and toilets, and, in the summer months, the air-conditioning is especially pleasing. The special carriage can reach speeds of up to 160 km/h.
