The ten-car French high-speed unit will arrive in the Czech Republic via Germany, first presenting itself to the public on the 6th of June at Prague Central Station, where it will stand from 11:00 a.m. near the new underpass to Žižkov. In the evening it will be moved to the Brno Exhibition Centre, where it will stay for three days.
Jihlava and Ústí
The next stops of the train will be Jihlava station on the 10th of June, and a day later, the central station in Ústí nad Labem. It will then return to its home country via Germany. The Railway Administration will cooperate with the carrier ČD Cargo to transport the train on Czech territory.
The presented TGV PSE type unit with registration number 16 was delivered in 1980 by Alstom for the TGV Sud-Est (South-East) project, which brought an unrivaled train connection between Paris and Lyon. It was part of a series of 109 units with distinctive orange paintwork.

The train consisted of two driving and eight insertion cars with a total length of two hundred meters and offered a total of 368 seats in its original configuration. In 1981, it achieved a speed record of 380 km/h, running at 300 km/h on regular services. It served until 2018, covering a total of 13,383,189 kilometers.
