Passengers on trains are increasingly witnessing situations where a group of drunken Germans heading from Dresden to Prague make the train ride unpleasant for the whole neighbourhood by shouting and aggressive behaviour. The conductors are often forced to call the police.
Leo Express records an average of five cases of problematic passengers per week. Czech Railways is in a similar situation. Leo Express spokesman Emil Sedlařík stated that last year they recorded 300 assaults on their employees by passengers, while this year, they have recorded almost two hundred in less than half a year.

Czech Railways is experiencing problematic passengers mainly from Germany. Most of them are young people who come to the Czech Republic for the weekend under the influence of alcohol to have fun. Drunk passengers are noisy, smoke inside the train, are often drugged or travel without a ticket, and react aggressively when detected. In response to these incidents, Czech Railways has deployed security agency staff on problem services, particularly from Munich and Dresden, to help resolve potential conflicts. Police officers are also deployed in some services.

The Czech national carrier also has huge problems with spraying. Last year, it dealt with some 2 555 cases of spraying, for which Czech Railways has to shut down trains for cleaning, causing frequent closures as there are no trains on the line, not to mention the financial costs.
