The PKP Intercity Customer Service Centre at the Central Station in Warsaw has recently completed its substantial renovations. The investment, costing over PLN 2.6 million, aimed to boost passenger comfort and streamline their service.
The reconstruction entailed an extensive revamping of the interior, which involved replacing the air conditioning, ventilation, central heating, electrical, ICT, and security systems. Not only is the upgrade set to improve passenger experience, but it will also provide a more conducive work environment for the centre's employees.

The newly refurbished Customer Service Centre represents PKP's continued efforts to enhance station infrastructure and elevate service standards. Rafał Zgorzelski, a member of the PKP S.A. The reconstruction of the centre forms part of PKP Intercity's strategic vision to expand and upgrade infrastructure, which has ultimately led to an increase in customer satisfaction and railway use. Krzysztof Świerczek, a member of the Board of PKP Intercity, described the investment as essential to enhancing passenger comfort. The centre is one of five nationwide that offer services such as ticket purchase, provision of travel information, and assistance for disabled individuals. Similar investments are also underway in Gdańsk. Throughout the refurbishment process, the Mazovian Voivodeship Historic Preservation Officer ensured the preservation of the historic values of the premises.
