The Easter holidays are associated with an increased interest in travelling around Poland. Seeing the growing turnout on trains, PKP Intercity is reinforcing the most popular connections with additional carriages. It will ensure efficient and safe travel on the national carrier's vehicles. The increased number of seats will appear on more than 180 trains. PKP Intercity has planned to extend the routes of 7 trainsets around Easter.

The carrier has already planned to reinforce 182 trains with an additional 275 carriages running on popular routes between 5-11 April. They appear on trains departing from, among others, Warsaw, Krakow, Tricity, Wrocław, Katowice, Szczecin, Lublin or Przemyśl, heading to other large cities or popular tourist centres, such as Kołobrzeg or Świnoujście.

The return from Easter in the Tricity will be facilitated by an additional train, the EIC Kaszub, which will take passengers from Gdynia Główna to Warszawa Wschodnia on 10 and 11 April, and then in the reverse relation. On the same days, an additional IC Lednica service between Gdynia Główna and Wrocław Główny and Gdynia Główna will be launched. On 10 April, PKP Intercity has planned an additional launch of the trains IC Kraszewski rel. Warszawa Wschodnia - Terespol - Warszawa Wschodnia and IC Laguna rel.
