PKP S.A. has inaugurated the modern and environmentally-friendly railway station in Racibory, Podlaskie Voivodeship, marking its ninth investment under the Station Investment Programme 2016-2023.
The new building is adapted to meet local needs, equipped with modern facilities, and co-financed by the Cohesion Fund under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. The contemporary, minimalist building was constructed in compliance with the Innovative System Station formula, housing all station functions under a shelter and the volume building. Passengers waiting for trains in the autumn and winter months can enjoy thermal comfort, as radiant heaters have been installed in the waiting area.

The station also features bicycle racks, a repair station for unicycles, electronic boards displaying train arrival and departure information, and a toilet for passengers adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The station is fully adapted to people with reduced mobility, with several facilities such as guided paths, Braille signage, and tactile boards with a plan of the facility. Furthermore, the station's building is equipped with a BMS for monitoring installations and equipment to optimize electricity, heat, and water consumption, energy-efficient lighting, photovoltaic panels on the roof, and modern monitoring, access control, and burglary and assault alarm systems. A small car park with five spaces and one space for disabled parking was also created as part of the investment.
