Deutsche Bahn has extended an invitation to the German Train Drivers' Union (GDL) for last-minute collective bargaining negotiations set for today, with a promise to present offers and solutions directly at the table amidst another wave of strikes.
DB's Board Member for Human Resources, Martin Seiler, emphasized the importance of dialogue at this crucial juncture. "This underlines our serious intention to reach a collective agreement in the interests of our employees and our customers in the near future," said Seiler.

This strike, the sixth of its kind, follows GDL's decision to forego the 48-hour advance strike notice, complicating travel plans for millions.
