On the night of Saturday, 25 to Sunday, 26 March, daylight saving time will begin, and the hands of the clock will move forward by one hour. Because of the missing 60 minutes, eight-night trains of ČD that will be on their route at that time will be "delayed". Two other trains will be delayed in neighbouring countries. Czech Railways will try to reduce the delays, for example, by shortening the stay of trains in stations. In Bohumín and Břeclav, however, the changeover of carriages between individual night trains will be maintained, and, thus, all direct night connections will be ensured. Regional trains will not be affected by the change, as they all start their routes after the changeover to summer time.

For ČD, the changeover to summer time means the introduction of special measures for the circulation of carriages, locomotives and staff. They aim to avoid subsequent delays to other trains during the day. To prevent delays from these night trains being transferred to other daytime services, morning connections will generally not wait for these "late" night trains.
