ÖBB has been celebrating its 100th anniversary since the start of the year. The pinnacle of these celebrations was the grand centennial event on 30th September in Vienna. Amid the festivities, Austria's premier mobility and logistics service provider not only reflected on its rich history but also looked forward with enthusiasm. The occasion was marked by the unveiling of their latest pride - the next-generation ÖBB Nightjet. A fleet of 33 state-of-the-art, seven-car Nightjets has been commissioned, with the inaugural services set to commence on 10th December 2023.

The inaugural passenger services are slated for December 2023, operating on the Vienna - Hamburg and Innsbruck - Hamburg routes.
