In total, there are already 17 Siemens Vectron locomotives that come under the ČD company. RSL leases six wagons, the remaining 10 are leased from EEL and directly owns one ČD locomotive.
ČD thus announced the news about 10 million kilometers driven with Siemens Vectron locomotives leased from EEL. By the first half of August, the D-193,298 was the most driven, with 1,074,853 kilometers.
Five locomotives have run several hundred kilometers and have crossed the million-kilometer mark. During the day, one Siemens Vectron locomotive, under ČD, will reach almost 1,000 km. The machines are used mainly on the Berliner lines from Prague to Berlin, Hamburg, and Kiel, and with the Hungaria express also to Budapest.
"Vectrons are the most reliable machines in the service of České Dráhy. Their average availability, based on the fleet of these ten locomotives, the number of hours in a given month, and the hours of the shutdown of machines for failure, is 99.24 percent, "the ČD said in a press release.
Another novelty is that ČD wants to buy new electric locomotives. New tenders have been announced for the supply of up to 90 electric locomotives for 200 km / h and up to 50 locomotives for 230 km / h.
