The Maple Leaf Country is proud of its beautiful and untouched nature, renowned for photos of grizzly bears hunting salmon. Nature walks can be risky, so traveling by train is the safest way to enjoy unforgettable natural scenery.

Rocky Mountaineer, a Canadian railway company based in Vancouver, operates luxury scenic trains on four rail routes in British Columbia, Utah, Colorado, and Alberta. A two-day trip across Canada begins at the company's headquarters and ends in the historic town of Banff or Jasper National Park. The most popular route is known as "The First Way to the West."

In 1990, the Canadian carrier transported around 10,000 passengers, and currently, it transports 100,000 people annually. The biggest attraction for tourists is the breathtaking views of the mountainous landscape, massive canyons, and glacial lakes. The Maple Leaf Country also boasts predator-rich and wild rivers. During the journey, more than one traveler has spotted the legendary grizzly bear in the woods.

The train's specialty is its glazed, panoramic windows, with the roof and side walls replaced by a glass dome. Among the sections not to be missed are the passage around Lake Louise and Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. The train also includes a viewing platform. Each carriage accommodates 72 tourists, who can recline their seats and enjoy the view from a couch-like setting. Each seat offers generous legroom.

Traveling on the famous dark blue and gold train has become, over the years, a symbol of luxury, adventure, and exquisite cuisine. Rocky Mountaineer prioritizes passenger comfort. The journey is enhanced by hostesses offering unlimited free drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic, as well as delicious gourmet snacks. During the trip, they also provide information about the region's history and its fauna and flora. They alert passengers to the best times and places to look out. The iconic train runs from sunrise to sunset.
