In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians launched a missile attack on the Chapline railway station. Fifteen people died, and about 50 more were injured, stated Zelenskyy during his speech before the UN Security Council. It was later revealed that the death toll rose to 25 civilians.
"Four passenger cars are on fire... So far, at least 15 people have been killed and about 50 injured. Rescuers are working. However, unfortunately, the death toll may still increase. This is how Russia has prepared for this meeting of the UN Security Council," - Zelenskyy said.
After completing the rescue and search operations in Chaplyne village, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine stated that, as a result of the shelling of the residential sector and the railway station, 25 people were killed and 31 injured. An 11-year-old boy died under the rubble of a house, another 6-year-old died in a car fire near the railway station.
