"The opening of the railway passenger service on the border between Ukraine and Romania is expected in early December. The route will be operated by a comfortable regional train DPKr-3 built in Ukraine," said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.
He added that the travel time from Rakhiv to the Romanian Vali-Viseului would be approximately 40 minutes, excluding customs procedures, and border and customs control would be carried out on board the train upon boarding.

Ukrzaliznytsia plans to operate two connections a day with the possibility of transferring passengers to trains of the Romanian railway CFR. Trains run daily from Vali-Viseului to the Sighet, Cluj, and Bucharest stations.
