The collision occurred around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21. "It was a Volkswagen Caddy driven by a 25-year-old driver. He was not under the influence of alcohol according to the breath test, nor was the driver," police spokeswoman Barbora Schneewissová commented on the situation. She added that the driver of the passenger car was slightly shaken, but no other injuries were reported.
Traffic on the track was restored to one of the two tracks with reduced speed before 11 a.m. The complete passage was not secured until around 12:30 p.m.

The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police. "The roads are slippery, be careful when crossing the level crossings," the Railways Authority warned.
