Ukrzaliznytsia announced the creation of a new international railway hub in Chop, located in the Transcarpathian region.

When drawing up a new schedule of routes, the Ukrainian railway carrier decided to create an international railway hub in Chop, thus making it easier for residents of Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Lviv, and Kovel to get abroad by rail. Passengers will be able to change trains to Zahony (Hungary), Budapest (Hungary), and Čierna nad Tisou (Slovakia).

In addition, in December, Ukrzaliznytsya will start running trains from Chop to Vienna (Austria) and Košice (Slovakia), and the date of the train to Prague (Czech Republic) will be announced later.
