Despite significant pressure due to increased energy prices, ÖBB will raise ticket prices moderately at the December timetable change.
The price increases will be kept well below the inflation rate, with 2nd class tickets only increasing on average by 3.9%. The dynamic pricing system will remain in place, meaning that tickets booked further in advance will be cheaper. As before, anyone who purchases a ticket 15 days or more prior to departure from a ticket machine, ticket counter, online, or in the app will pay the same price as before.

Booking on the day of departure will result in a slightly higher fare of €28.30.
