ÖBB has announced the launch of its newest fleet of Nightjet trains. Starting December 10, 2023, these modern trains will operate on routes between Vienna and Hamburg as well as Innsbruck and Hamburg.
With the commencement of the new service, ticket prices vary depending on the type of accommodation, starting from EUR 29.20 for seated cars to a starting price of EUR 107.40 for the high-end sleeping compartments.

Each train set consists of seven parts, including two seated cars and two sleeping cars, accommodating up to 254 passengers. Technical features include free WiFi through the ÖBB Railnet night portal, an updated passenger information system, multiple charging ports for devices, improved mobile reception windows, and compartment control displays. For added security, compartments are equipped with an NFC card access system and are under video surveillance.
