Almost a month later, another strike will take place on the German railways. The strike will also significantly affect the operation of connections from the Czech Republic.
There will be another strike on the railways in Germany. After almost a month, the train drivers' union GDL at the carrier Deutsche Bahn AG has announced another strike, which will start at 02:00 on Thursday, 7 March, and last for 35 hours, ending on Friday, 8 March at 13:00.
"At this moment, we are gathering information on the potential scope of the strike at the DB Fernverkehr and DB Regio carriers," said Czech Railways (České dráhy) in a press release.
Similar restrictions to the last strike can be expected, particularly on the EC Prague - Berlin - Hamburg / Kiel / Flensburg, the Cheb - Marktredwitz line, and the Bavarian Express line from Prague to Munich. Impacts on night trains are expected already on the night of 6-7 March.
