Alstom got awarded an agreement to supply 17 state-of-the-art Coradia Stream electric kits to DB Regio for the Main-Weser network in Germany. The new trains, consisting of 13 four-car and four five-car sets, will run on the German Main-Weser sub-network between Frankfurt, Giessen, Marburg, and Kassel and support the planned timetable change on 15 December 2024. In addition to increasing capacity at peak times, the new Coradia trains Stream will enhance the travel experience with additional seating, more space, and free Wi-Fi.
