photo: Alstom press materials/Alstom takes responsibility for their mistake, data formatting error to blame for rail transport collapse in Poland, Sweden, Netherlands, Singapore, and India
Alstom has issued a statement denying that today's rail outage in Poland was caused by a hacker attack and apologizing for its own mistake. The cause of the crash was a data formatting error.
Polish Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk confirmed that the same rail outages as in Poland also occurred tonight in India, Singapore, and possibly Pakistan. Allegedly, there were problems with technology supplied by Alstom/Bombardier.
