The Italian rail freight company - InRail, has realized its longest journey so far. It is a train that connected Skrljevo in Croatia and Creutzwald in northeastern France, and the train that carried 20 tanks with propylene traveled through three countries. He covered a total of 2,000 kilometers in 60 hours, reported by the company.

From Croatia, the train entered Slovenia via Dobova, and then in Italy via the Villa Opicina border crossing near Trieste. He then crossed the entire Italian north to Ventimiglia on the border with France. After entering France, he traveled along the coast of the French Riviera until he reached Miramas near Marseille.

After that, the composition changed direction and headed towards the northeastern part of France, all the way to Kreuzwald, which is located on the French-German border and very close to Luxembourg. The total transport time was 60 hours, and the train arrived at its destination on July 1.

As before, RailTarget introduced you to the company, InRail is a railway company founded in 2009 as a part of a network of associated companies active in maneuvering, rail transport, maintenance, in logistics and training and provides transport services for all types of goods, such as raw materials, ferrous scrap, products, steel, chemical products, cereals, timber, cars, and RID goods both gas and liquid, and regularly performs its services goods on numerous reports. Specifically, the main destinations interested in / out of Tarvisio Boscoverde, Villa Opicina and Nova Gorica are Udine, Osoppo, San Giorgio di Nogaro, Piacenza, Cava Tigozzi (Cremona), Portogruaro (Venice), Cava Manara (Pavia), Poggio Rusco (Mantua), San Pietro in Gù (Vicenza) and various locations in Piedmont, with a current average of about 150 trains operated per week.

- We are delighted with the result achieved by this train, which we completely operated with our own locomotives, and which crossed the whole of Italy and Slovenia. With more than 2,000 kilometers covered, this is the longest distance InRail has reached so far - commented director Lucio Gentile.
